Mell Illustration

I am an Illustrator, Artist and Designer who has graduated with two degrees; a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication and in Illustration & Animation from the University of South Australia.

 

My illustration and design skills include a wide range of medias and techniques to achieve a high standard of work. I strive to make my work bright and bold to draw in viewers, whilst adhering to briefs and clients needs. I primarily enjoy working in watercolour paints and creating simple digital illustrations.

I thoroughly enjoy creating short 2D animations. It's extremely rewarding to see a character or story you've invested alot of love in, come to life.

I have extensive knowledge and abilities in the Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects, and Animate (formerly Flash). I have also trained in video compositing in Foundry's Nuke, and 3D modelling and animation in Autodesk Maya.

As an Illustrator, I strive to make the world a beautiful place and help those that need to create, and convey their message.
